An attended nursery is provided during Sunday worship services for children ages 6 months to 3 years old

   Children’s Worship
A special Children’s Worship service is provided every other Sunday for children ages 4 years to 2nd grade. Children learn about worship on the their own level with age-appropriate activities, but then also experience adult worship on alternate Sundays to feel a part of the church family as a whole.

   Warriors (grades 2-6)
The Warriors group provides the opportunity for our elementary-aged children to build good relationships with peers, build character, and receive training for service by ministry to others. Past activities have included:

• Planting a garden, to grow vegetables to share
• Collecting school supplies for orphanages in Russia, as well as for needy children in the local community
• Fun times such as parties, pizza, and movies.

   Teenagers
Our teenagers are involved in:

• Service projects to help others, including a community car wash
• Devotionals and fellowship activities
• Attending youth rallies in several states
• Attending the Summer Youth Series hosted annually by sister churches in NJ and PA

   Summer Camp and Youth Retreats
Laurelwood supports the activities of Camp Manatawny, near Reading, PA. The camp provides week-long  summer sessions for all ages from elementary through high school, as well as weekend retreats. For a full schedule of activities, see the Camp Manatawny website (www.manatawny.org)
