Call to Worship

May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine upon us,      Selah
that your ways may be known on earth, your salvation among all nations.
May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you.
May the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you rule the peoples justly
and guide the nations of the earth.        Selah
May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you.
Then the land will yield its harvest, and God, our God, will bless us.
God will bless us, and all the ends of the earth will fear him.

Know Him, Love Him, Share Him

Know Him...
Encouragement from John and Brenda. Thought for your journey:

God does not mind if we stumble,
As long as we stumble in the right direction.

Love Him...

Pint Size Pulpit

Good Morning Laurelwood!
We are beginning a new sermon series this week! For the next several weeks we will explore the foundations of our faith. I thought about
calling this series "Back to the Basics!"  But the last thing I want to do is go back! Our theme verses for this year talk about 'pressing on' not going back (Phil. 3:13-14).  So I have decided to call this series "Forward to the Fundamentals!"

We will explore the 'Foundation' of Faith' - Knowing God.  We will explore the 'Foundation of Love' - Loving God.  And we will explore
the 'Foundation of Hope' - Sharing God.  I hope that you are ready and willing to 'press on.'

Brethren, I do not consider that I have made it my own; but one thing I do, forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Phi 3:13-14

I am excited about this series, and I hope that you will be praying for me as I prepare and preach each week.  In His Grace...For His Service,  Daniel

PS
- I hope to see you tonight at 6:00 pm here at building when Mark Finn talks to us about "Small Group Risks."  I'll buy Ice Cream for everyone who comes (order your flavor after service).

Share Him...

Come One - Come All!
Mark Finn will continue to lead the small group Training sessions for the next two weeks.  This week topic is on risks.  Make plans to be there continuing this Sunday night at 6:00 PM at the church building.  The class will focus on how to have small groups and make them effective for the body and visitors. Come and learn together as the church prepares for this important ministry.

Serve Him...
