Call to Worship

Shout with joy to God, all the earth!
Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious!
Say to God, "How awesome are your deeds!
So great is your power that your enemies cringe before you.
All the earth bows down to you; they sing praise to you,
they sing praise to your name."        Selah
Come and see what God has done, how awesome his works in man's behalf!
He turned the sea into dry land, they passed through the waters on foot--
come, let us rejoice in him.
He rules forever by his power, his eyes watch the nations--
let not the rebellious rise up against him.        Selah

Psalm 66: 1-7

Know Him, Love Him, Share Him

Know Him...
Encouragement from John and Brenda. Thought for your journey:

What would a Marriage relationship be if the couple only spent one hour a week together?
Spending time with God beyond the  Sunday morning service is important!
Pray, Read, Fellowship.

Love Him...

Pint Size Pulpit
Have you ever been carried away for Him

"She has done a good work for me." Mark 14:6
If human love does not carry a person beyond oneself,  perhaps it is not love. If love is always discreet,  always wise, always sensible calculating, never carried beyond itself, it is not love at all. It may be affection, it may be warmth of feeling, but it has not the true meaning of love in it.
Have I ever been carried away to do something for God not because it was my duty, nor because it was useful, nor because there was anything in it at all beyond the fact that I love Him?
There are times when it seems as if God watches to see if we will give Him the abandoned tokens of how genuinely we do love Him. Abandon to God is of more value than personal holiness.  Personal Holiness focuses the eye on our own 'cleanliness;' we are greatly concerned about the way we walk and talk and look, fearful lest we offend Him.
Perfect love casts out all that fear when once we are abandoned to God.  It is never a question of being of use, but of being of value to God Himself. When we are abandoned to God, He works
through us all the time.

Oswald Chambers

Abandon to God is of more value than personal holiness.

Share Him...

Come One - Come All!
Mark Finn will continue to lead the small group Training sessions for the next two weeks.  This week topic is on risks.  Make plans to be there continuing this Sunday night at 6:00 PM at the church building.  The class will focus on how to have small groups and make them effective for the body and visitors. Come and learn together as the church prepares for this important ministry.

Serve Him...
