Paper or Plastic
Next time you hear these words at the grocery store say, “Paper Please” We are collecting paper bags to make vines for VBS. Please bring paper bags in and put them under the foyer table.
Grass cutting begins this month. Guys make sure you check the schedule to see when your month is.

Pint Size Pulpit
Today is a special day! But it shouldn't be.
Now don't get me wrong. It is great that we honor 'Moms' today. After all the scriptures say
"Honor thy father and they mother." Exodus 20:12
But a woman who is raising her children and helping to lead her family in 'upward calling of God in Christ Jesus' deserves to be honored every day. She is a special person every day!
It takes more than a strong woman to be a Mom--it takes a Woman of Strength. Do you think they are the same? Well think again!
A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape ... but a woman of strength kneels in prayer to keep her soul in shape...
A strong woman isn’t afraid of anything ... but a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of her fear...
A strong woman won’t let anyone get the best of her ... but a woman of strength gives the best of herself to everyone...
A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future... A woman of strength realizes life’s mistakes can also be God’s blessings and capitalizes on them...
A strong woman walks sure footedly... but a woman of strength knows God will catch her when she falls...
A strong woman wears the look of confidence on her face... but a woman of strength wears grace...
A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey... but a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she
will become strong...

Come One - Come All!
Mark Finn will continue to lead the small group Training sessions for the next two weeks. This week topic is on risks. Make plans to be there continuing this Sunday night at 6:00 PM at the church building. The class will focus on how to have small groups and make them effective for the body and visitors. Come and learn together as the church prepares for this important ministry.
Serve Him...
There will be a decorating/cutting work day this Wednesday May 14 for our upcoming VBS. It will be either here at my house or at the church building depending on how many can make it. Please let me know if you can make it. We will start in the morning and go till the afternoon. If you can't make it, Benja will also be handing out things that you can take home and cut-out.
