Know Him, Love Him, Share Him
Know Him... Encouragement from John and Brenda. Thought for your journey:
Life is becoming the person God had in mind when he created me.
Love Him...
Pint Size Pulpit
There is much to do there is work on every hand...Hark! The cry for help goes ringing through the land! VBS is just six weeks away! Already our preparations are well under way. Signs will be going up later this week on the church lawn, and our website has been updated, radio and television ads have been arranged. Most importantly, let’s make sure we tell friends and neighbors about Vacation Bible School! Can you tell I am getting excited about VBS? Housing arrangements are ‘shaping up’ and our guests from Georgia and Tennessee have begun meeting in earnest to prepare for their part in our outreach to South Jersey. Please keep them in your prayers as they prepare to come. Finally, I have some very exciting news about June 29, the day before our VBS begins. You will not want to miss any part of this day! Lot Therrio is a fabulous story-teller of the Gospel, and he will share a story from God’s word with us on three occasions that day . We will also share in sandwiches after AM worship, and have our Free Community Car Wash from 2-5pm. As the car wash wraps up, the BBQ grills will just be starting to sizzle with, hot dogs hamburgers, steaks, sausages, ribs...if you bring it, it will burn! After our big ol’ BBQ picnic, we will have a short service and Lot will have some final story telling for us! And then, on Monday June 30, the VBS begins! “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed!” Proverbs 16:3
“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed!”
Daniel.
Share Him... Gloucester Twp. Day is only two more weeks away, Saturday, June 7th. Please make sure you sign the list on the foyer table to let Steve know when you can work and what station you would prefer. This year our focus will be on letting the community know about our FREE Car Wash on June 29th and our VBS from June 30th-July 3rd. Come help spread the word!
Serve Him... There will be a decorating/cutting work day this Wednesday May 14 for our upcoming VBS. It will be either here at my house or at the church building depending on how many can make it. Please let me know if you can make it. We will start in the morning and go till the afternoon. If you can't make it, Benja will also be handing out things that you can take home and cut-out.
