Call to Worship
O God, you are my God, earnestly I seek you; my soul thirsts for you, my body longs for you,
in a dry and weary land where there is no water.

Announcements
 Summer BBQ
This evening there will be two BBQ’s. One at the Beemer’s and the other at John and Brenda’s. See sign up lists on the foyer table.
Annual Corporate Meeting
This notice is to inform the congregation of the meeting scheduled Sunday, August 24th after worship. The purpose of this meeting is to meet the requirement to be incorporated and to select some new trusties. Please sign the notification sheet on the foyer table.

Ashley Gill, Erin Gill, Susan Gill, Daniel Oden, & Dean Oden. Send them a note. It will make their day.
In October or early November the Warriors are thinking of going to Springdale Farms in Cherry Hill for a hayride & evening devotional. The cost is $9.00 per person. It will probably be on a Sunday evening. We need to reserve this by the end of August, so please let Helen know if you are interested in going. Like the bowling event earlier this year, we are inviting the church. If the cost is too much, please let me know.
 Prayer Requests
The Porter Family, as they deal with the loss of Tracy’s Uncle.
The Burgess’, as they travel to NC to see Junita’s sister, Betty who has taken a turn for the worse.
The Lovelace’s as they struggle with changes happening in their lives.
The Durham, as they continue to seek options for Susan’s liver cancer.
The Peoples, as John is seeking employment.

Share Him...
The Warriors will be collecting school supplies for the Robin's Nest (a home for abused women & children). Many school supplies are on sale now and they need everything from pre-school up to high school. If you see some school supplies on sale now and would like to donate them to the church, please buy them and bring them to the building. There will be a basket in the foyer for them. The warriors will be getting together on Sunday, Sept. 14, to assemble packets & write letters.
