Our Purpose
The purpose of Laurelwood Church of Christ is to glorify God.
 
   Our Vision
At Laurelwood Church of Christ, we seek:

• to experience and share the presence of the living Christ with others,
• to glorify God through worship,
• and to mature and grow as a family in Christ

   Our People
The church at Laurelwood is made up of people from all over South Jersey!  Some live practically next door, and some drive up to 30 miles to worship with us and be a part of our family.

At Laurelwood you will find some folks who have been here many years, and others who are newcomers. But most importantly, you will find people who love the Lord and are genuine, friendly, and caring. 

Our members come from many walks of life in terms of jobs and professions. We have members and visitors who are white, African, Asian, and Hispanic. On any Sunday, you will find people wearing suits and ties, and people wearing jeans and sneakers. We welcome all people who are seeking God!

   Our Services
Our services are simple, and it is easy to follow along and experience our worship. We have prayer, Bible reading, musical praise, and an encouraging sermon/message. We do not use a piano, organ, or other instruments, but we enjoy praising God through singing. Our praise service contains both contemporary songs and traditional hymns. We also share Communion (Lord's Supper) every Sunday to remember Jesus' sacrifice for us.

We collect an offering from our members each week to carry on the work of the church, but never expect visitors to contribute unless they wish to do so voluntarily.

Most of all, we love the Lord! We invite you to come and get to know us, and share the knowledge and love of God in Christ Jesus.
